Misunderstood Targets: A Racial Switch-Up.

The film explores themes of racism, media manipulation, and corruption. After Amos is released from jail and brought to the vacation home to stage a fake hostage situation, the situation quickly spirals out of control. The media arrives on the scene, eager to cover the story of a wealthy black writer being held captive by a crazy white man.

As the situation becomes increasingly dangerous, Amos and Andrew must join forces to outsmart the police and the media and prove their innocence. Along the way, they confront their own prejudices and learn the true meaning of friendship.

The film was directed by E. Max Frye and released in 1993. It received mixed reviews but was praised for its exploration of racial issues and its comedic elements. It also featured a talented cast, including Samuel L. Jackson, Nicolas Cage, Dabney Coleman, and Bob Balaban.
