American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt is a 1989 martial arts action film directed by Cedric Sundstrom and starring David Bradley and Steve James. It is the third installment in the American Ninja series.

The movie begins with Sean Davidson (David Bradley), a karate champion, practicing on a beach in Central America. He is approached by Jackson (Steve James), a former U.S. Army Ranger who has returned to the military and is now a sergeant in the Marine Corps. Jackson tells Sean that Colonel Wilder (Marjoe Gortner), his former commander, has been taken hostage by a group of terrorists known as "The Cobra" (Milt Kogan) and his ruthless bands of ninjas.

Sean agrees to help Jackson rescue Wilder, but their mission becomes complicated when Sean is infected with a deadly virus that threatens to kill him in a matter of days. Together, Jackson and Sean must fight their way through waves of ninjas and other obstacles to reach The Cobra's stronghold and stop him from unleashing his virus on the world.

The film features several intense battle scenes, including an epic final showdown between Sean and The Cobra that takes place on a rooftop. Along the way, Sean and Jackson are aided by a beautiful CIA operative named Patricia (Marie LaSalle) and a wacky inventor named Dexter (Evan J. Klisser), who provides them with high-tech gadgets and weapons to aid in their mission.

American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt received mixed reviews from critics but was praised for its action sequences and martial arts choreography. It is considered a cult classic among fans of the American Ninja franchise and martial arts films in general.
