Ambulance is an upcoming action-thriller movie directed by Michael Bay and written by Chris Fedak. The movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Eiza González, Garret Dillahunt, and A Martinez.
The movie follows decorated veteran Will Sharp, who is in desperate need of money to cover the medical bills for his wife. He turns to his adoptive brother Danny, a charismatic career criminal, for help. However, instead of offering him a loan or a job, Danny proposes a heist: the biggest bank robbery in Los Angeles history, with a target of $32 million.
Despite being wary of Danny's criminal tendencies, Will agrees to the heist when he realizes that it is his only way to save his wife's life. The duo plans the heist meticulously, but soon find themselves pursued by the police and a group of deadly criminals who want the money for themselves.
As they try to escape the city with their haul, they suddenly find themselves trapped in an ambulance with a wounded cop who refuses to give up his pursuit. The trio is forced to engage in a dangerous game of cat and mouse as they fight for their survival and the contents of the ambulance.
Ambulance promises to be a thrilling ride, with high-octane action, heart-stopping suspense and an intense performance from Jake Gyllenhaal. It is set to release on February 18, 2022.
