Amar Akbar Anthony is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Sreenu Vaitla and starring Ravi Teja in a triple role alongside Ileana D'Cruz and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. The movie revolves around Amar, Akbar, and Anthony, who are three individuals with dissociative identity disorder, and how they take revenge on four businessmen who were responsible for the murder of their family.
Amar, Akbar, and Anthony are brothers who were separated during their childhood and were raised in different religious backgrounds. Amar was raised as a Hindu and becomes a skilled thief, Akbar was raised as a Muslim and becomes a righteous lawyer, while Anthony was raised as a Christian and becomes a drunken media person. They all suffer from dissociative identity disorder, a condition that causes them to have multiple identities.
One day, they receive shocking news that their parents and sister have been brutally murdered by four businessmen. They decide to take revenge on the murderers but can only do so by working together. Amar, Akbar, and Anthony merge their identities and plan their attack. They use their unique skills and identities to outsmart the businessmen and finally take revenge, but not without some unexpected twists and turns in the plot.
