The Chipmunks vs The Chipettes: Battle of the Bands

In the movie, Alvin, Simon and Theodore are on top of their game as international music superstars. However, during a concert in Paris, they accidentally cause a massive stage mishap and end up injuring Dave Seville. Dave is advised to take a break from managing his chipmunk band and his nephew Toby is asked to take their care. Toby is hesitant at first, but he agrees to look after them after seeing how good they are with children on a school trip.
After returning to school, the Chipmunks are faced with the challenge of fitting in with their peers and adapting to their new environment. Meanwhile, the school's music program is in jeopardy of being cut due to budget cuts. The principal announces a music competition with a $25,000 prize that could save the program and Toby encourages the Chipmunks to enter.
Just when they think they have a chance of winning, they are confronted by three new singing chipmunks - The Chipettes. The Chipettes are composed of Brittany, the sassy and confident one, Eleanor, the sweet and lovable one, and Jeanette, the intelligent and tech-savvy one. The Chipettes are also vying for the prize money and a fierce rivalry ensues between the two groups.
As the competition heats up, the Chipmunks and Chipettes find themselves battling not only for the prize, but for each other's affection.
