Alternate Ground is a science fiction movie directed by Kevin Del Principe, which focuses on the story of a teenage boy named Travis Holloway. One night, Travis goes missing, leaving his family members worried and concerned about his sudden disappearance. He returns the very next day, but his behavior and the things he says confound everyone, and they start suspecting that something strange has occurred.
Despite receiving medical attention, the doctors have no answers about Travis's unexplained transformation. The situation intensifies, prompting his family to investigate his sudden shift in behavior. They soon discover something beyond their imagination. Travis has been abducted by aliens, and they had performed experiments on him.
This revelation horrifies his family and leave them at a loss for what to do. In an attempt to uncover the truth, the family dives deeper into the mysteries of the alien abduction, only to find that their knowledge of reality and existence is altered forever.
Alternate Ground tackles the themes of alien abduction, trauma, family, and the search for the truth. The film stars Michael Coppola, Demitra Papadinis, and Thomas Lee Howell in the lead roles and was released on June 1, 2021.
