The movie Altered Perceptions follows the story of Dr. Sarah Novak, a renowned neuroscientist who discovers a groundbreaking treatment for neurological disorders. However, amidst the excitement, Sarah soon realizes that her treatment causes unexpected and dangerous side effects that completely alter a person's perception of reality.
As Sarah tries to uncover the cause of these effects while working with her team of fellow scientists, she begins to experience the same dangerous symptoms herself. Alongside this personal struggle, Sarah has to navigate the challenges of her professional and personal relationships, including her strained marriage to her husband, who's also a colleague on her team.
As the insanity and danger escalate, Sarah is forced to question not only her own identity, but the very essence of what it means to be human. As she races against time to find a cure for the toxic side effects of her treatment, Sarah uncovers a conspiracy that goes deeper than she ever imagined, and must fight for her survival as well as the sanity of those around her.
