Already Gone is a coming-of-age drama film that follows 16-year-old Robinson, who decides to run away from home after years of enduring physical and emotional abuse from his stepfather, Ray. Despite having no plans and limited resources, Robinson decides to bring Ray's kind-hearted girlfriend, Audrey, with him.
As they embark on their journey, Robinson and Audrey begin to form a bond, both having experienced Ray's manipulative and cruel behavior firsthand. Along the way, they encounter various challenges and obstacles, including dangerous strangers and a lack of food and shelter.
As they travel further away from home, Robinson begins to open up to Audrey about his troubled past and his hopes and dreams for the future. Audrey, who had been living with Ray out of fear and desperation, finds herself empowered by Robinson's bravery and determination.
