The protagonist of the movie is a young woman named Heather who is planning a romantic homecoming for her girlfriend, Charlie. Heather has been away from home for a while and is excited to be reunited with Charlie.
Heather decorates their apartment with candles and rose petals, eager to surprise Charlie with a romantic atmosphere. As the night wears on, strange things start happening. Heather begins hearing voices and seeing shadows in the apartment.
