Kate is a passionate conservationist who is traveling to Hawaii for her best friend Rachel's wedding. She's looking forward to a fun and relaxing vacation, but things don't quite go as planned.
When she arrives, Kate finds out that Rachel is completely stressed out over the wedding preparations. As her best friend, Kate steps in to help out as much as possible, but she soon finds herself completely consumed by wedding planning.
At the same time, Kate also meets the new hotel manager, Alex. He's just taken over his family's hotel, and he's determined to make some changes. However, he's not having an easy time getting everyone on board.
Despite her overflowing schedule, Kate agrees to help Alex with the hotel renovations. Together, they work to make the hotel more eco-friendly and sustainable.
As Kate and Alex spend more time together, they begin to develop feelings for each other. However, with the wedding fast approaching and both of their busy schedules, they struggle to find time for each other.
In the end, Kate and Alex manage to pull off an amazing wedding for Rachel, and the hotel renovations are a major success. Kate realizes that she's fallen in love with Alex, and they decide to give their relationship a chance.
