Almost Heroes is a 1998 comedy film directed by Christopher Guest. The movie is a fictionalized account of the 1804 Lewis and Clark expedition through the Pacific Northwest. The story follows two explorers, Bartholomew Hunt (played by Chris Farley) and Leslie Edwards (played by Matthew Perry), who are hired by the president to lead a team of misfits on a doomed mission to reach the Pacific Ocean before Lewis and Clark.
