Almost Che is a romantic comedy film directed by Yakup Lee. The film follows Kang Dae-oh, a delivery man for a Chinese restaurant, who dreams of becoming a chef. He is also hopelessly in love with Ye-rin, a college student he meets while making deliveries to her university.

Determined to win Ye-rin's heart, Kang Dae-oh decides to enroll in a cooking school in order to create a special dish that will impress her. Along the way, he encounters various obstacles and faces numerous challenges, including a rival chef who also has his sights set on Ye-rin.
As Kang Dae-oh navigates his way through his new culinary career, he begins to realize that there is more to life than just being with Ye-rin. Through his cooking, he discovers his own passion and talent, and learns to value himself for who he is.
In the end, Kang Dae-oh finally confesses his love to Ye-rin and has the courage to pursue his dreams, no matter what anyone else thinks. The film ends with Kang Dae-oh starting his own food truck business, with Ye-rin by his side.
