All the Pretty Horses is a 2000 Western drama film directed by Billy Bob Thornton and based on the novel of the same name by Cormac McCarthy. The movie follows the journey of John Grady Cole (Matt Damon), a young man from Texas who loses his family ranch and sets out on a journey to Mexico with his best friend Lacey Rawlins (Henry Thomas) in hopes of finding work as cowboys.
