All Creatures Here Below follows the story of a young couple, Gensan and Ruby, who are struggling to make ends meet and find a stable place to live. After a tragic event, the couple finds themselves on the run from the law.
Desperate and running out of options, they decide to seek refuge in Kansas City, where Gensan hopes to find his long-lost sister. As they navigate the unfamiliar city, they encounter a diverse cast of characters, including a sympathetic social worker, a kind-hearted truck driver, and a sinister drug dealer.
As they try to start anew and leave their past behind them, Gensan and Ruby find themselves confronted with difficult choices and harsh realities. Can they find the peace and security they seek, or will their troubled past catch up with them?
