Itsy's initial plan to write an exposé on Calvin's beliefs about his parents' alien abduction quickly turns into a friendship as she realizes how kind and thoughtful he is. As they spend more time together, Itsy begins to question her own beliefs about aliens, and starts to entertain the idea that Calvin might be right about his parents' disappearance.
Together, Itsy and Calvin start investigating the alleged abduction, which leads them to uncover a government conspiracy involving extraterrestrial life. They realize that they are in great danger as powerful forces try to silence their investigation and keep the truth from getting out.
As Itsy and Calvin become closer, they team up to uncover the truth about the alien abduction, while also navigating their own personal struggles. Itsy must face her fears of being alone in a new town, while Calvin struggles with the idea that his parents may never be found.
In the end, Itsy and Calvin find evidence that proves Calvin's parents were indeed abducted by aliens, but they also discover a darker truth about the government's involvement in covering up the existence of extraterrestrial life. The two friends become heroes who save the day- and maybe even the world.
