In Alien: Battlefield Earth, two Extra-terrestrial beings are captured by the American military, sparking a global crisis. The aliens reveal that they belong to a race known as "The Zycron," who have been at war with another alien race called "The Kylaxians." The Zycron inform the humans that The Kylaxians are planning to invade Earth in order to use it as a resource base to fuel their own war efforts.
As the world governments scramble to prepare for the imminent invasion, a small group of humans led by a former solider named Jack (played by Tom Cruise) come up with a plan to fight back against the Kylaxians. With the help of the two Zycron captives, Jack and his team create a device that can disrupt the Kylaxians' technology and level the playing field in a potential battle.
When the Kylaxians do finally arrive, the ensuing battle is intense and devastating. But thanks to Jack's plan, the human forces are able to hold their ground and ultimately defeat the Kylaxians, saving Earth from certain destruction. However, it becomes clear that the threat of alien invasion is far from over, and as the credits roll, it is hinted that more battles are yet to come.
