Riko is a young man who has always felt like he doesn't quite fit in with the other residents of his small town. He spends most of his time tinkering with gadgets in his garage and dreaming of a life more exciting than the one he has.
One night, while working on a project in his garage, Riko hears a strange noise outside. Investigating further, he discovers a crashed spaceship and its alien inhabitants.
Despite his initial fear, Riko finds that he can communicate with the aliens and soon a deep bond forms between them. The aliens are kind and curious, fascinated by the strange world they have crash-landed on. With Riko's help, they set about repairing their ship and attempting to return home.
However, their peaceful existence is soon threatened by the arrival of an obnoxious blogger and alientologist named Zane Blackwell. Zane is convinced that the aliens are the key to his fame and fortune, and he will stop at nothing to get his hands on them and reveal their existence to the world.
Riko and the aliens must work together to evade Zane's constant surveillance and attempts to capture them. Along the way, they also discover important truths about themselves and the world they inhabit.
Alien Addiction is a heartwarming and comedic tale about unlikely friendship, acceptance, and the lengths we'll go to protect those we care about.
