In the movie Alfie, the titular character (played by Jude Law) is a charming and charismatic British limousine driver living in Manhattan. He has a string of casual relationships with various women and sees no need for commitment. His two best friends are Marlon (played by Omar Epps), another driver, and Lonette (played by Nia Long), Marlon's girlfriend.

Alfie begins a brief affair with Lonette, which ends when her emotions become too intense for him to handle. He soon finds out that she has become pregnant, and he begins to realize the consequences of his actions. Alfie starts to question his lifestyle and the impact it has on the people around him.

Throughout the movie, Alfie breaks the fourth wall and speaks directly to the audience, sharing his inner thoughts and reflections. He also has relationships with other women, including a young woman named Sidda (played by Sienna Miller) and a wealthy older woman named Liz (played by Susan Sarandon).

As Alfie's personal life becomes more complicated, his professional life also takes a hit when he loses his job as a limousine driver due to a traffic accident. He eventually realizes that he needs to take responsibility for his actions and deal with the consequences of his choices.

The movie is a remake of the 1966 film of the same name, which starred Michael Caine as Alfie. The 2004 version was directed by Charles Shyer and received mixed reviews, with many critics praising Jude Law's performance but criticizing the film's lack of depth and characterization.
