Aladdin is a young orphan who lives in the bustling city of Agrabah. He and his pet monkey Abu survive by stealing food and goods from the marketplace. One day, while running from the guards who are chasing him for thievery, Aladdin meets Princess Jasmine, the Sultan's daughter, who has escaped from the palace to see more of the city.
