The movie Against the Clock follows the story of CIA Agent Evan Lake (played by Nicolas Cage), who has been on the job for more than 30 years. During a mission, Evan is seriously injured and is told he can no longer work for the CIA due to his deteriorating mental and physical condition.
Evan's wife Michelle (played by Sarah Paulson) is a former CIA operative who is determined to find out what happened to her husband. She begins to uncover a conspiracy involving the CIA Director, who wants to keep the truth concealed at all costs. Michelle must navigate her way through dangerous situations to uncover the truth about her husband's injury.
