Rachel, played by Kathryn Hahn, is a loving wife and mother who is struggling to find fulfillment in her mundane life. She attends an auction at her son's preschool with her husband Jeff, played by Josh Radnor, but finds herself bored and frustrated with the other parents' obsession with material possessions.
