Drama,Horror,Mystery,Thriller  United States of America

After.Life is a 2009 psychological thriller film starring Christina Ricci, Liam Neeson, and Justin Long. It was directed by Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo and written by Wojtowicz-Vosloo, Paul Vosloo, and Jakub Korolczuk.

The film follows Anna Taylor (Christina Ricci), a young schoolteacher who gets into a car accident and is pronounced dead by medical professionals. However, she awakens inside a funeral home, where she meets the mortician, Eliot Deacon (Liam Neeson), who informs her that she has passed on and he will be preparing her for burial. Anna is initially convinced that she is still alive and pleads with Eliot to help her escape, but he claims that she is in a state of transition between life and death.

As Anna spends more time with Eliot, she begins to doubt her own sanity and become increasingly convinced that she is actually dead. Eliot insists that he has a gift for communicating with the dead, and that Anna needs to accept her death before she can cross over to the other side. Meanwhile, Anna's boyfriend (Justin Long) becomes increasingly suspicious of Eliot and sets out to save her from a fate worse than death.

After.Life is a haunting and suspenseful film that explores themes of mortality, grief, and the afterlife. With standout performances from Ricci and Neeson, the film is a chilling meditation on what it means to truly let go of life.
