Adrenochrome follows the story of Hal, a young American veteran who is struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and addiction. One day, he meets a group of eccentric individuals on Venice Beach who lure him into their world of drug-fueled madness.

Hal soon realizes that his new friends are not just drug users, but they are also killers. They are hunting down people specifically to extract a rare psychedelic compound called Adrenochrome from their adrenal glands. The group believes that consuming this substance gives them prolonged youth, vitality, and enhanced cognitive abilities.

As Hal gets deep into their world, he becomes conflicted between his loyalty to his new friends and his morals. He must navigate his way through a dangerous and twisted lifestyle while trying to preserve his own sanity.

The movie features intense and visceral scenes of violence, drug use, and philosophical musings about the nature of reality and human existence. It stars James Clayton, Ellie Church, and Larry Fessenden and is directed by Trevor Simms. Adrenochrome premiered at the Boston Underground Film Festival in 2017 and has gained a cult following since then.
