Adipurush is an upcoming epic action-adventure film based on the Hindu mythological epic Ramayana. It is directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series and Retrophiles.
The film follows the story of Prince Raghava of Ayodhya, also known as Lord Rama, who is a follower of dharma and righteousness. His wife Janaki, also known as Sita, is abducted by the demon king Lankesh of Lanka, also known as Ravana, who has been lusting after her beauty.
The film sees Raghava, his brother Prince Lakshmana, and the mighty Vanar warriors, led by Lord Hanuman, embark on a dangerous journey to rescue Sita from Lankesh's clutches. Along the way, they encounter numerous obstacles such as the demoness Surpanakha, the ten-headed demon king Ravana, and his army of Rakshasas.
As they journey towards Lanka, Raghava also faces personal struggles, including doubts about his ability to save his beloved wife, and the constant reminder of his duty to uphold dharma and righteousness.
