In Addams Family Reunion, the eccentric and unconventional Addams family are disturbed by the fact that their beloved grandparents, Grandpa and Grandma Addams, are slowly losing their unique quirks and personalities. Desperate to find a cure, Gomez and Morticia set out on a mission to locate a long lost Addams family member who might hold the key to a remedy for the mysterious disease affecting their relatives.
The Addams' journey takes them to an eerie and isolated hotel in the middle of nowhere, where they attend a peculiar family reunion. At the reunion, Gomez and Morticia meet a variety of quirky, but not quite as unique, Addams family members, each with their own peculiarities and quirks. The family members also provide insights into the Addams family's legacy, their values, and their origin.
However, things take a turn for the worse when a scheming lawyer, who is vying to buy the hotel, plots to steal the cure and sabotage the Addams reunion. He interrupts the family's search for the cure with various machinations, which cause more trouble than help.
Eventually, the Addams family finds the cure they were seeking in a surprising way, and the grandparents are restored to their original, spooky selves. The reunion ends on an upbeat note, with the Addams family gaining a newfound appreciation for their unique and unusual traits and traditions.
