Action Man (also known as The Hunter Will Get You) is a 1971 crime thriller directed by Georges Lautner. The film stars Robert Stack as Steve Ventura, an American who convinces retired French bank robber Arthur Lespinasse (played by the legendary Jean Gabin) to team up with him for one last heist.
The plan seems foolproof as they successfully rob a bank of millions of dollars. However, things take a dark turn when a group of kidnappers abducts Ventura's girlfriend, Elizabeth (played by Joëlle Bernard), and demand the stolen money as ransom.
Ventura and Lespinasse are now caught in a dangerous game of cat and mouse as they try to retrieve the money and save Elizabeth's life.
