Across the Hall is a 2009 thriller directed by Alex Merkin. The film follows the story of a young man named Terry (played by Mike Vogel) who becomes increasingly convinced that his fiancée, June (played by Brittany Murphy), is cheating on him. One day, he follows her to a motel and sees her with another man.
In a panic, Terry calls his best friend, Julian (played by Danny Pino), for help. Julian rushes to the motel and tries to keep Terry from doing anything rash. However, things spiral out of control when the other man confronts Terry, leading to a violent confrontation.
As the night progresses, secrets are revealed and tensions mount between the three characters. The plot twists and turns, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats, until the shocking conclusion.
Across the Hall received mixed reviews from critics upon its release, but was praised for its stylish visuals and strong performances by the cast. The film also marked one of the final roles for actress Brittany Murphy, who passed away shortly after filming.
