Action,Crime,Drama,Thriller  United States of America

Across 110th Street is a 1972 crime film directed by Barry Shear, which tells the story of a daring robbery in Harlem, New York. The robbery takes place at a disused bank that is being used as a mob collection point. Three black criminals - Jim Harris, Joe Logart, and Henry Jackson - steal $300,000 from the Italian mafia, killing several mafiosi and two policemen in the process.

The robbery puts both the mafia and the police on high alert. Lt. Pope (Yaphet Kotto) and Capt. Mattelli (Anthony Quinn) are two police officers assigned to the case. They must navigate through the corrupt world of the mafia to track down the criminals and recover the stolen money.

Meanwhile, the three criminals are on the run, trying to avoid being caught by both the police and the mafia. They each have their own agenda for the stolen money, leading to tensions and betrayals within the group.

Throughout the movie, the tension builds as both the police and the mafia close in on the criminals. The film also explores the themes of race relations and police corruption in 1970s America.

The movie is known for its gritty and realistic portrayal of Harlem, with much of the film shot on location. The title song "Across 110th Street," performed by Bobby Womack, was also a popular hit and has become a classic soul song.
