Action  Hong Kong

"Aces Go Places V: The Terracotta Hit" is a 1989 Hong Kong action-comedy film directed by Lau Kar-leung. The film stars Sam Hui, Karl Maka, Sylvia Chang, and Teddy Robin.

The story follows two best friends, King Kong (Sam Hui) and Albert "Baldy" Au (Karl Maka), who own an investment firm and inadvertently get mixed up with a gang of antiquities smugglers who have stolen a valuable terracotta statue.

When they are framed for the robbery, they turn to their police officer friend, Inspector Ho (Teddy Robin), for help. Ho and his team investigate the case, and with the help of a talented thief, Yeung (Sylvia Chang), they work to clear Kong and Baldy's names and recover the stolen statue.

Along the way, the group faces numerous action-packed and comedic obstacles, including car chases, shootouts, and a brawl on a construction site. They also encounter a mysterious villain known only as "The Face," who wants to get his hands on the stolen statue for his own devious purposes.

As the team races against time to solve the case and catch the smugglers, they must also navigate their complicated relationships and personal conflicts. In the end, they succeed in a thrilling finale, which involves a dramatic helicopter chase and a showdown at a museum.
