Aashik Aawara is a Bollywood romantic comedy film released in 1993. The film stars Saif Ali Khan as Jimmy, the orphan boy raised by a thief, and Mamta Kulkarni as Jyoti, the daughter of a wealthy businessman.
The story begins with Jimmy's parents being killed in a car accident caused by Jyoti's father's reckless driving. Jimmy is taken in by a thief who teaches him the tricks of the trade and raises him as his own son. As Jimmy grows up, he becomes a skilled thief himself and starts working with his surrogate father.
