A Week Away follows the story of Will Hawkins, a troubled teenager who has been getting into trouble with the law. After a particularly bad run-in with the police, Will is given an ultimatum: either go to juvenile detention or attend a Christian summer camp.
Feeling like he has no other choice, Will reluctantly agrees to go to the camp, where he quickly finds himself out of his comfort zone. However, as he begins to participate in camp activities and interact with the other campers, he starts to open up and let his guard down.
Will's journey is not an easy one, as he struggles with his past and the challenges of fitting in at the camp. But with the help of a camp regular named Avery, who quickly becomes a friend and confidant, Will starts to find a sense of belonging and a new purpose in life.
Over the course of the week, Will learns valuable lessons about faith, forgiveness, and the importance of community. And as he grows and changes, he discovers that the camp was exactly the place he needed to be in order to turn his life around.
