A Walk with Grace is an uplifting drama directed by Nick Kellis. The film follows the story of Nate Lassiter, who is a successful executive in Los Angeles. When his mother dies suddenly, he must return to his hometown in Ohio to deal with the family factory that he owns. However, he soon discovers that the factory is facing financial problems and the workers are on the verge of a strike.
As Nate tries to settle the legal dispute over the factory sale, he reconnects with his past through his spitfire cousin and other characters from his childhood, including his former high school wrestling buddy. Along the way, he must also navigate the relationship with his estranged daughter, Chloe, who is struggling to come to terms with her own grief.
As he faces a series of challenges, Nate begins to understand the importance of his family, the community, and his own personal growth. The film explores themes of forgiveness, self-discovery, and the power of redemption.
The film stars David Lee Smith, Mishka Calderon, Jenni-Kate Deshon, Austin St. John, and Ashley Bratcher. A Walk with Grace premiered in select theaters on February 21, 2020.
