A Town Called Panic is a 2009 Belgian animated film directed and written by Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar. The film is based on the television series of the same name and features three plastic figurines - Cowboy, Indian and Horse - who live in a surreal, papier-mache world where anything is possible.

The film begins with Cowboy and Indian realizing that they have forgotten about Horse’s birthday and hastily decide to build him a barbecue, despite having no experience constructing anything. However, their haphazard efforts cause their house to collapse, leading to a series of adventures as the trio travel across different worlds.

Throughout the film, the characters encounter a range of bizarre creatures, including giant snowballs, sentient vegetables, and fish with machine guns. They travel to the center of the earth in search of Horse’s stolen house, encounter a mad scientist who creates dangerous clones, and attend a concert featuring a band of robot chickens.

Despite their many mishaps, the trio ultimately find themselves in a parallel underwater universe where they discover Horse’s love interest, Madame Longray, living with a group of pointy-headed creatures. After helping them to thwart a group of thieves, the couple is finally able to enjoy a moment of peace together.

With its fast-paced action, unique animation style, and absurd humor, A Town Called Panic is both entertaining and hilarious. The film was a critical and commercial success, winning the Audience Award at the 2009 Fantastic Fest and receiving positive reviews from both audiences and critics alike.
