A Thousand Times Good Night is a 2013 drama film directed by Erik Poppe and starring Juliette Binoche as Rebecca, a war photojournalist struggling to balance her dangerous job with her family life. The film explores the toll that her work takes on both her physical and psychological well-being, as well as the strain it puts on her relationships with her husband Marcus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and their two daughters.

After an incident in Kabul where Rebecca is injured while photographing a suicide bomber, she returns home to Ireland to recover and begins to reassess her priorities. However, tensions quickly arise with her family as they demand that she choose between her job and her role as a wife and mother.

As Rebecca tries to reconnect with her family, she is offered an assignment to photograph a conflict in Kenya. Despite the risks involved, she goes against her family's wishes and decides to take the job, leading to a dramatic confrontation that will force her to confront the consequences of her choices.

A Thousand Times Good Night is a powerful exploration of the sacrifices that people make in pursuit of their passions, and the toll that those decisions can take on the people around them. With strong performances from Binoche and Coster-Waldau, it is a thought-provoking film that asks important questions about the nature of love, family, and responsibility.
