A Storybook Ending follows the story of Marcus (played by Sean Riggs), an African-American man who witnesses a police officer brutally beating a young black man. When he intervenes to stop the officer, he is attacked and forced to fight back in self-defense, ultimately killing the cop.
Marcus is then thrust into a dangerous game of cat and mouse as the police department and the dead cop's family members attempt to cover up the incident and make it look like Marcus was solely responsible for the cop's death. As the situation escalates, Marcus must work with his girlfriend to uncover the truth before they are both silenced for good.
Meanwhile, the corrupt cop's family members are also dealing with their own secrets and scandals, adding fuel to the already explosive situation. As the stakes get higher and higher, Marcus is forced to make a series of difficult decisions that could ultimately determine the outcome of his life.
