Samantha and Elizabeth are identical twin sisters who have always had a tight bond. However, as they approach their thirtieth birthday, Samantha becomes increasingly anxious about the direction her life is taking. Meanwhile, Elizabeth seems to have it all - a successful career, a loving husband, and financial stability.
On the day of their thirtieth birthday, the sisters decide to secretly switch places, for a little bit of fun. Samantha takes on Elizabeth's identity, living her sister's glamorous life for the day. But when it comes time to switch back, Elizabeth is nowhere to be found.
As Samantha starts to panic, she is thrown into a web of lies and deception. She soon discovers that her sister was leading a much darker double life than she ever let on, and that she may have been involved in dangerous criminal activities. When Samantha's beloved sister is found brutally murdered, she realizes that her switch with Elizabeth may have put her own life in danger.
