A Rough Draft is a 2018 Russian science fiction film directed by Sergei Mokritsky. The movie features Kirill, a talented young game designer who wakes up one day to find that he has been erased from the memory of all his friends and family. As he tries to figure out what has happened to him, he is approached by a group of people who tell him that he has been selected for an important mission.
They reveal that there are dozens of parallel universes in the universe, and that some of them are in danger of being destroyed. Kirill is tasked with becoming a customs officer between these worlds, ensuring that people and objects from different universes do not cross over into each other's realities.
As Kirill begins to explore these parallel worlds, he discovers that they are all different from each other, with their own unique histories, cultures, and ecosystems. He also encounters a mysterious figure known as the Cardinal, who seems to be controlling the fate of these worlds from behind the scenes.
As Kirill delves deeper into the mysteries of these parallel universes, he begins to question his own reality. Is our Earth just one of many "drafts" that exist in the universe, or is it the only one that is real? And who is really in control of these worlds? The film explores these questions as Kirill struggles to complete his mission and unravel the secrets of the parallel universe.
