The small town of Sandtown, located in the California desert, is usually a quiet and peaceful place. But that all changes when a psychopath begins to randomly attack and kill innocent people. The killer's identity is unknown, and he seems to have no particular motive for his actions.
Captain Peters, a seasoned police officer, is put in charge of leading the investigation. Along with his team of dedicated officers, he begins to search for any clues that could lead them to the killer's whereabouts. Meanwhile, the townspeople live in fear, unsure of when the next attack may occur.
As the investigation progresses, Captain Peters begins to suspect that the killer may be someone from within the community. He starts to interview locals and look for any connections between the victims. Eventually, a suspect emerges, but the evidence is circumstantial at best.
When another murder occurs, the pressure mounts on Captain Peters and his team to find the killer before he strikes again. With tensions running high and time running out, they must work together to catch the psychopath and put an end to the violence that has been ravaging their small town.
