A Pistol for Ringo is a 1965 Italian spaghetti western film directed by Duccio Tessari. The film follows the story of a deadly gunfighter named Ringo, played by Giuliano Gemma, who is hired by a sheriff to infiltrate a gang of outlaws who have taken hostages in a small town.

Ringo initially agrees to help the sheriff in exchange for money, but he soon becomes emotionally invested in the town and its people, especially a beautiful widow named Ruby. As Ringo works to gain the trust of the outlaws and discover their plan, he must also navigate the complicated relationships within the gang, which includes a treacherous second-in-command named Sancho.

The film is notable for its stylish cinematography and action-packed shootouts, as well as Ennio Morricone's memorable score. A Pistol for Ringo was a commercial success and helped popularize the spaghetti western genre, leading to a sequel titled The Return of Ringo, also directed by Tessari and starring Gemma.
