Emily and Sebastian are both top executives at a marketing firm in New York City. When they receive news of a potential new client, Durand Diamonds, they jump at the opportunity to pitch their ideas. As luck would have it, the CEO of Durand Diamonds is holding his annual charity ball in Paris and they are invited to attend.
Upon arriving in Paris, Emily and Sebastian are swept up in the beauty of the city and the excitement of the event. They present their pitch to great success and are thrilled to have landed the account. However, things take a tricky turn when the CEO, Henri Durand, mistakes them for a couple in love.
Though they try to explain the misunderstanding, Henri insists that they join him for the weekend as his guests. They agree to keep up the act in order to not jeopardize the account, but as they spend more time together, they begin to realize that there may be more than just a business partnership between them.
As they navigate their feelings and the expectations of their client, they must also confront their own personal fears and insecurities. Will their pretend relationship turn into something real?
