A Merry Christmas Match is a heartwarming and festive holiday movie. Corey, played by Ashley Newbrough, is the main character who works in her mom's antique shop in a small town. She had once dreamt of becoming a theatre director, but after her father passed away, she made a promise to organize a Christmas pageant in his honor every year.
As the time for the pageant comes closer, Ryder, played by Kyle Dean Massey, enters Corey's store. Ryder is a playwright from New York who is searching for inspiration for his next play. As Ryder and Corey start to spend more time together, Corey begins to question whether she should have left town to follow her dream.
As Corey struggles with her decision, the town also faces difficulties. The local theater is in danger of shutting down, and the pageant she has organized is also in jeopardy. Corey and Ryder work together to save both the pageant and the theater, and in doing so, they find love in each other.
