A Life Less Ordinary is a 1997 romantic comedy directed by Danny Boyle and starring Ewan McGregor and Cameron Diaz. The film revolves around the two angels, O'Reilly and Jackson, who are tasked with creating a love connection between Robert, a janitor, and Celine, a spoiled rich girl.
The movie begins with Celine (Cameron Diaz) getting fired from her job and going on a shooting spree at her father's company. O'Reilly (Holly Hunter) and Jackson (Delroy Lindo), the two angels, are sent down to earth to make sure that Robert and Celine fall in love and have a child, as it is their destiny.
The two angels face challenges as they try to guide Robert and Celine towards each other, facing resistance from both Celine's wealthy family and law enforcement officials who are trying to capture Robert. As Robert and Celine begin to fall in love, O'Reilly and Jackson's interference leads to a series of misadventures that threaten the future of their relationship.
Despite their efforts, the two angels are unable to bring Robert and Celine together, and it is revealed that Robert and Celine were never meant to be together. They eventually part ways, with each going their separate ways. However, the angels are pleased as they discover another couple whose love connection they had successfully engineered, leading to a happy ending for all parties involved.
