A Force of One is a 1979 action film directed by Paul Aaron. The film stars Chuck Norris as Matt Logan, a world champion karate fighter, who is called upon by the police to help them train officers in self-defense.
Logan initially refuses the police's request, but he eventually agrees to teach the officers after narcotics agents are killed by an assailant who uses martial arts. The assailant is a member of a drug ring, and Logan teams up with the police to take down the entire operation.
During the course of the film, Logan enters a romantic relationship with one of the police officers, played by Jennifer O'Neill. He also faces off against the leader of the drug ring, played by Clu Gulager, in a brutal final showdown.
The film features numerous fight scenes and showcases Norris' martial arts skills. A Force of One was a box office success and helped to establish Norris as a leading action star in the 1980s.
