The three siblings, Alex, Emily, and Max, are struggling to adjust to their new family dynamic. Alex, the oldest, is a high school senior who feels like an outsider since her mother remarried and is now living with her stepfather and stepsiblings. On Christmas Eve, Max accidentally activates his device and summons the Spirit of Christmas, who appears in the form of a charming and magical older woman. She grants their wish to switch bodies, hoping to teach them a lesson about the true meaning of Christmas: love, family, and forgiveness.
The siblings wake up the next morning in each other's bodies and must navigate their new lives while also dealing with the complications that come with being in someone else's body.
