As Piper's book launch approaches, she finds out that her ex-boyfriend has published a tell-all book about their past relationship. The book contains embarrassing and damaging information that could ruin not only Piper's reputation but also her business.
To make matters worse, Piper discovers that her grandmother's recipes, which she has used as inspiration for her book, are causing allergic reactions in some of her test readers. Afraid to disappoint her customers and ruin her grandmother's legacy, Piper must find a way to fix the recipes and salvage her book launch.
With the help of her small-town community, including a handsome local baker who offers to help her perfect the recipes, Piper is able to turn things around and make her book launch a success. Along the way, she also rediscovers the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of family and friends.
