A Christmas Movie Christmas is a 2019 romantic comedy that follows the story of two sisters, Eve and Lacy, who are very different from each other. While Eve is a hopeless romantic who loves Christmas movies and believes in the magic of the holiday season, Lacy is a cynical realist who thinks that Christmas is nothing but a commercial scam.
On Christmas Eve, after an argument about the meaning of Christmas, the sisters accidentally break a Christmas ornament that their grandfather had given them. Inside the ornament was a magical snow globe that transported the sisters to Christmas Town, a world straight out of a Christmas movie.
Eve is overjoyed to be in her dream world and longs for a movie-perfect Christmas with a movie-perfect boyfriend. However, Lacy is less than thrilled and tries to find a way back to reality. As they navigate through the town, they meet familiar Christmas movie characters, including the town's mayor and the handsome love interest.
But things do not go as smoothly as they expect, and soon they realize that they are trapped in the perfect Christmas movie, unable to escape and return to the real world. Eve's encyclopedic knowledge of Christmas movies become useless as things start to go wrong, and she realizes that the movie world she so idolized is not as perfect as she thought.
The sisters must find a way out of Christmas Town before their time runs out and they are stuck in a perfect but incomplete world forever. In the end, they discover the true meaning of Christmas and learn to appreciate each other's differences.
