Annie Cooper is a hardworking and dedicated woman who takes over the family cookie company after her grandmother's sudden passing. The company had seen better days, and Annie is struggling to keep it afloat. With the holiday season approaching, she hopes that the sales will increase, but unfortunately, things take a turn for the worse.
During the annual Christmas party hosted by the company, Annie's grandmother's secret recipe that was supposed to be kept under lock and key vanished. The disappearance of the recipe launches Annie into a full-blown investigation. Without the recipe, the company will go bankrupt, and Annie's years of hard work will go to waste.
Desperate to save the company, Annie teams up with Sam, the owner of a local bakery, to recreate the recipe from memory. As they work together to make one batch after the other, Annie and Sam develop a close bond and gradually start to understand each other better.
As the days go by, Annie and Sam's baking skills improve, and they think they have finally managed to replicate the secret recipe. However, a shocking revelation at the end breaks their hearts, and they realize there's more to the story.
