The movie follows the story of a high school student named Kelly Ferguson, who is an inexperienced babysitter. On Halloween night, she is called to babysit a young boy named Jacob Zellman, who is the son of a wealthy family. However, while Kelly is watching Jacob, he is suddenly kidnapped by the Boogeyman and taken into a secret dimension known as the "Shadow Realm."
Kelly soon discovers that she has been recruited by a secret society of babysitters known as "The Order of the Babysitters," who seek to protect children from supernatural threats. She reluctantly agrees to help rescue Jacob and must team up with a group of other teenage babysitters who each possess unique skills to battle the Boogeyman and his army of monsters.
Together, they embark on a dangerous journey through the Shadow Realm, encountering various creatures such as a giant ogre, a shape-shifting werewolf, and a horde of spider-like monsters. As they journey deeper into the realm, Kelly must confront her fears and find the courage to face the Boogeyman himself and save Jacob before it's too late.
