9 Month Stretch is a French comedy directed by and starring Albert Dupontel as Bob, the unlikely father of Judge Ariane Felder's (played by Sandrine Kiberlain) child. The story follows Ariane as she tries to uncover the truth behind her pregnancy and Bob's involvement while navigating the challenges of impending motherhood.

Despite her initial shock and confusion, Ariane decides to keep the baby and sets out to prove Bob's guilt in court. As Bob is in custody and unable to provide any answers, Ariane turns to his lawyer (played by Nicolas Marié) for help in unraveling the mystery.

As the due date approaches, Ariane's pregnancy brings out unexpected reactions from her colleagues and family. As she struggles to balance her work and impending motherhood, Ariane also begins to question her own beliefs and morals.

9 Month Stretch features a mix of slapstick humor and heartwarming moments, as well as a surprising twist that challenges perceptions of who is truly guilty and who is innocent. The film was a critical and commercial success in France, earning several César nominations and winning Best Original Screenplay.
