7500 is a 2019 thriller film directed by Patrick Vollrath. The story takes place almost entirely in the cockpit of a commercial airplane, where Tobias Ellis (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a co-pilot flying from Berlin to Paris with his captain, Michael Lutzmann (Carlo Kitzlinger).
The flight seems ordinary until the plane is hijacked by terrorists who try to take control of the cockpit and use the plane for a deadly attack. Ellis, who also happens to be the father of a young child with a passenger on board, is forced to make a series of difficult decisions to protect the passengers and crew members.
The film is shot in real-time and entirely from the perspective of the cramped cockpit, creating a tense and claustrophobic atmosphere throughout. Actress Aylin Tezel plays a flight attendant who is initially taken captive by the hijackers but manages to escape and help Ellis from outside the cockpit.
